Early morning

Our partner was snoring and woke us up, then woke up themselves with a sore throat. Oops. XD Well, it's fine. We're chilling on the couch with cups of tea, and I'm confident partner isn't sick.

Yesterday we were supposed to go to their dad's house for late christmas, but it got pushed off til today because everyone in the family is injured or sick or busy.

We'll see if it actually happens today.

Been trying to come up with a good way to spend our xmas/birthday money and coming up empty. Were thinking about upgrading our cell phone but anything that's in our price range isn't an upgrade, and anything that's an upgrade I don't feel happy spending on a phone.

That's the way it is i guess.

Evening update

Quiet night here tonight. Its raining out. It's been raining out since we woke up this morning. We spent the morning running errands-- picking up mail from the in-laws' house, doing some shopping. Then we made the frankly bizarre decision to go to the mall in the city. It was fun but it was A) nervous driving due to the rain, and B) busy as fuck because apparently there was a sport game happening right nearby.

Well, we've been home for a few hours now. Cozied in. Had some tea. Partner is playing Route 96, and together we're slowly picking away at writing more of Crimson Sunset, Azure Dawn (and setting up for some Ragpickers and Urchins tomorrow.)

Nice morning. Woke up with partner (Vivi) and had coffee and did some writing for a while. Out of a beautiful morning running errands.  Started at the dollar store getting birthday cards for partner's work. Grabbed coffee and a donut and breakfast sandwiches at  honeydew.  Now we're at the in laws house and feeding the dogs, chilling and drinking coffee about to head out to get groceries.

Just having a really pleasant time.
