Actually, people have a negative opinion of Otakukin because the beliefs are obtuse, unfounded, and likely have origins in severe mental, emotional, and social dysfunction/malformation. The drama just adds a certain comedic spice to it, like children fighting over which one of them their imaginary zebra character likes better.
