A long time ago I was one of the main authors in a shared fanfiction universe for the Matrix.

I left my characters in a really dire situation when I quit, and its haunted me for quite some time.

I finally went back, and gave them an ending.

Ah, see now I have a soulbound ( if that's the right word ) Raoul that I've known since I was at least 13 and I have a weird relationship with Erik. Raoul has been a childhood friend of mine since I was a kid, so I'm very defensive about him.
