Morning update
Okay so the soup was delicious but definitely TOO HEAVY. I overdid it and it sat like a rock in my stomach. But it WAS delicious. Making a light stir fry tonight to make up for the mistake 😂
The bread was great though.
Speaking of mistakes. So, yesterday the day started early (4:30am) because partner woke up with a nightmare. TODAY the day started late (7am) because I forgot to turn the alarm back on after 🎀💖 (Luffy) turned it off yesterday morning when we didn't need it. Oops! It was fine though, because we usually get up 2 hours before partner starts work anyway. So it was a "rushed" morning for us but compared to a lot of people it was relaxed.
Took the trash out after partner went to work and went for a walk. Along the way there was a black vulture (NOT a turkey vulture) eating some roadkill, so that was a fun animal encounter.
Anxiety seems high today (lots of floating nervous thoughts) so I'm keeping that in mind going forward.
To-do today:
* chores (trash out, catbox, dishes, sort laundry, vacuum, sweep kitchen minimum)
* editing (Sanstorms & Starfall chapter, Crimson Sunset chapter)
* writing (drabbles?)
* cook dinner (stir fry)
