Whoops! I didn't mean for two weeks to go by without an entry. Time just got away from me I guess. Busy couple of weeks... kind of.
Lets see, the 16th we ended up going for a drive down to the lake and getting ice cream. There were more people there than was great but everyone was doing a pretty good job keeping distanced and wearing masks, so that was nice. Stood around and looked at the water. It was a beautiful day and I was just feeling way too restless to stay inside.
I spent most of the week after that shopping online for grill supplies, because I got it in my head that I wanted to grill for Memorial day. I ended up getting a little charcoal grill and some patio furniture.
Friday we went to get sushi but we ended up getting a traffic ticket which sucked but., you know, whatever. Didn't let it spoil our weekend. We ate sushi and watched some old Japanese movies from the 70s. It turns out Amazon Prime has a huge catalogue of them. we watched Cops Vs Thugs which I thought was going to be a zany exploitation flick but ended up being LA Noire, but japanese. Then we watched Stray Cat Rock which was a great girl gang film.
I also uuuuuh.... messed up my wrist drawing too much on friday. OOPS! On the plus side i got all the DR5 cast drawn, which I'll share below.
Saturday we spent ALL day outside. It was windy but we managed to get the charcoal to light and I cooked on a charcoal grill for the first time. It felt great. It was one of the most relaxing days of my life, just sitting in the shade with Serpent, chatting, eating hotdogs and fooling around.
Sunday the Cat Genie broke. So..... that's been an ongoing problem. Still not sure what to do about it, but we'll manage.
Monday Serpent had off for memorial day and we just kinda chilled out and worked more on Danganronpa 5 and Somnoma.
I've mostly been relaxing this week and taking it easy cause of my wrist, up til today. Napped, browsed the web. Took care of some bills. I ordered a plunger today to hopefully unclog the kitchen sink. Played some animal crossing. Ketchup moved out and Chief moved in. I love him! I am now only missing an uchi and a peppy villager.
And today my hand felt okay enough to do a bit of drawing! I drew a couple of characters from Chronocide which is Serpent and my spiritual successor to/reorganization of Metal Gear.
