The only true evil is hypocrisy. Therefore, to acknowledge one’s natural selfishness, vindictiveness etcetera, or evil, is to be on the side of right, whereas those who shamefully hide these properties, or worse, claim to be ‘good’ while doing ‘evil’ are wrong.

And rubbing the noses of a hypocritical society in your superiority by calling yourself evil is just plain fun. :D
