So they got a new voice actor for Xelloss

So, they announced the voice cast for the dub of Slayers: Rev/Evo-r. They got the whole old cast back, except for Xelloss.

While I will deeply miss David Moo, I can't wait to hear the new guy.

Because the new guy is Dean Venture.

Yes, the random chick who reads your journal and comments once a year or so is coming out of the woodworks to express the lulz. But... but David Moo was the epitome of "LOL DUBS!"

My husband, who started watching anime around the time I stopped, insists that dubs are getting better/closer to the Japanese versions in terms of their voice actor selection, and handling of dialogue. I... don't know about that.

Hi, you. I'm sorry I didn't call today. I'm working double shifts on Mondays & Tuesdays for the next few weeks, which means my life is less than enjoyable. I'm pretty much at work from 8:30 in the morning until 9:30 at night. My poor dog ! (And my poor brain, but that's another story...) So, yes.
